When a single tooth or multiple teeth have been missing for an extended period of time, we often see significant loss in the jaw bone. This bone loss will need to be corrected if you plan to replace these missing teeth with Dental Implants.
We have multiple methods of ridge augmentation using numerous materials. These include, but are not limited to, titanium mesh, titanium reinforced membranes, block grafts, ridge splitting, and biologic materials/growth factors. The materials selected will be tailored to the individual patient’s need in a case by case basis.
After surgery we will send any necessary prescriptions for antibiotics and/or pain medication directly to your pharmacy electronically. You will be seen for a follow up visit 1 week later to check on your healing and to remove stitches. Additional follow up visits will be necessary to continue to monitor your healing.
